Spouses of Members

We are pleased to welcome the wives and husbands of Members, offering them full privileges of the Clubhouse upon application by the Member. Spouses do not normally have individual privileges at reciprocal clubs, although this is determined by each club on a case-by-case basis.

We would be happy to give any member’s husband or wife a tour of the Clubhouse.

Corporate Discounts

The Club offers the members a number of corporate discounts with leading retailers. The current discount relationships include Brooks Brothers, Tiffany & Co., Jos. A. Bank Clothiers and Michael C. Fina. These relationships enable members to enjoy discounts ranging from 15% to 25%, along with special promotions and sales throughout the year.

To utilize the discount at Jos. A. Banks Clothiers and Michael C. Fina members should present the DTA membership card at the time of check out.

Private Dining Discount

Our Clubhouse offers some of the most elegant rooms in New York for private dining functions. When members arrange events at the Club they receive specially priced packages along with a 5% discount on the surcharge. Members also receive a 1% rebate to their accounts for any event they refer to the DTA.

Lunch Delivery

Enjoy a DTA lunch even on the days when you don’t have the time to leave the office. The Down Town Association offers a complete lunch menu for delivery to members who work or live below 14th Street, or for pick up at the Clubhouse, between 12 and 2:30 pm Monday through Friday. The Club’s menu offers a wide variety of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, entrees, combinations such as soup and salad, sides and desserts. Our kitchen can meet any special dietary requirements as well.

A $5 delivery charge will be added to the bill.
