Reading Room

The Reading Room is one of the finest grand rooms of New York. Designed in the Jacobean style as part of the 1911 expansion, it recalls the ancient drawing room of an English country home. The room, paneled in oak and with a superb quatrefoil ceiling and a great fireplace as a centerpiece. houses a collection of prints which hang in this room that highlight New York City and Brooklyn in the early 1800s.
